More Great Service – From Calphalon

I promise this blog won’t be ONLY about great service – but when I receive great service, I really like to talk about it, as the company that gave the great service deserves heaps of public praise!

Angela and I have been enjoying the Calphalon pots and pans we received for our wedding. The hard anodized pans are holding up amazingly well (except for that one that was left on the stove, stewing apples, until the apples turned into something between charcoal and diamond) but the non-stick pans lost their non-stickiness, and started to loose their coating, too soon. I did a little Googling and discovered that Calphalon really stands behinds its warranty (either lifetime or 10-years, depending on the pans) so I packed up the two fry pans with a letter of explanation and shipped them back.

Yesterday two brand new pans showed up – no shipping charges, no explanations necessary (beyond my letter), just great service – thanks Calphalon – you are awesome, and I think everyone should know!
